Wherever you go you hear people talking about how we must recycle everything to take care of the environment. Do we genuinely have to do this? Think about the fact that a single plastic shopping bag can take up to 1,000 years to fully break down. A thousand years is a long time for just one bag. Consider how many plastic bags you go through each year, not just shopping bags but bin liners also. You’re talking about a lot of plastic bags when you multiply that number by the number of people living in our country. A better idea would be to recycle the shopping bag instead of letting it sit in the landfill slowly decomposing. Lots of things are recycled nowadays, for example old worn tires are split down and utilized as tread for playgrounds and plastic shopping bagsplastic bags can be remade into clothing. Almost all things can be recycled.

A new water park and a new playground were put up. Recycling likewise helped to fund basic municipal requisites, such as a police department, a fire station and funding for children who go pre-school. Hence, not only does recycling help to reuse waste materials, it can also generate cash for other things.

RecyclingMost probably, you think that you as a single person can’t make a big difference by your recycling but just think about how much the world would change if everyone did a little recycling. Land fill sites would be much smaller, meaning they are more low-cost to run as well as not leaving an awful scar on the surrounding area. Through recycling, we can take care of the environment as well as help to raise money for communities in need. It’s a win-win scenario for all of us!

Even if you don’t care about the planet, try to think of others; not only human beings but also creatures. They are suffering due to troubles in the environment like global warming. You can help to save the planet and leave a healthy planet for your children by doing just a little recycling.

healthy planetThink about how long it takes one item to decompose. It was mentioned befre that a plastic bag takes more or less 1000 years to entirely break down. A glass jar may really take up to one million years to decompose and styrofoam may never break down at all while other items, such as disposable diapers and milk bottles, can take hundreds of years. There’s no reason to discard these items when they are easy to recycle.

easy to recycle.Apparently, there are several things we can’t recycle now, but with the technology becoming even more advanced we might find new ways of recycling and new uses of several materials. Presently, however, there’s no reason that recyclable things like plastic, metals, and glass should end up in landfills. Recycling these things is reasonably convenient in several communities and is not costly, so it’s a great idea to help our planet. With each person doing their part, we can all make an impact.
